We love Yellowknife

What a fantastic weekend in Yellowknife! We were dazzled by the warm welcome we received from the city’s music community.

We were also pleased to meet some of the other talented musicians that were in town, including The Lonely Counsel, the brilliant fiddler Wesley Hardisty, and young Ms. Shiri MacPherson.

A huge thanks! We’ll have to come back soon!

Cambridge Bay Jam Session

Tonight was the first jam session held at the Elders’ Palace in a long time. It was a pleasure jamming with the musicians of Cambridge Bay, who are all full of surprising talents. Even the small children, singing their ABCs!

A big thanks to the community for making me feel so welcome!
